Where your future begins

The SMN Jr. College is proud to offer our students the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, the most prestigious pre-university program in the world. The IB has a 40-year proven history of producing highly skilled students that are independent learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and high achievers. It’s no wonder that the top universities in the world, such as Harvard, seek to enroll IB Diploma graduates.

With a broad and balanced program, students study six different subject areas and are assessed with rigorous internationally standardized examinations. In addition, students must complete the Theory of Knowledge (cirtical thinking skills) course, the Extended Essay (research and writing skills), and engage in CAS (community service) projects.

Built into the center of each student’s education at SMN are core values of learner qualities and character qualities that give students the resources to be better students and better people in a global society.

Challenge. Achieve. Succeed.

In the SMN Junior College, we deliver the IB Diploma Programme which is a world recognized pre-university level of education. These two years are specifically designed to prepare students to enter the rigors of university life and learning. The Diploma Programme offers the highest quality courses for their academic readiness, and it also enhances the character traits needed for independent success.

Junior College: the first step to the rest of your life.

The SMN Junior College program is both the student’s last step of high school education and first step of their university life. It is here that we aim to fully prepare students academically, socially, and personally for what they can expect in their adult education. To accomplish this, we offer the internationally recognized IB program to provide them with the experience of independent study, analysis, research, experimentation, expression, and inquiry. Individual, community, and world perspectives are also explored to enhance their global understanding.
